Ingredients

  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 medium zucchini
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 head romaine lettuce

Instructions

  • Finely chop 1 large yellow onion, 1 large green bell pepper, 1 medium zucchini, and 2 carrots. Set aside until ready to use.
  • In a large mixing bowl, place 1 lb. ground turkey, 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning, 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, ½ tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp kosher salt, and ½ tsp black pepper. Mix until everything is thoroughly combined.
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add 1 Tbsp olive oil to the pan, followed by your chopped veggies. Cook the veggies, stirring occasionally, until they are soft but not mushy (5-7 minutes).
  • Add the seasoned turkey to the pan and stir to mix everything together. Cook until the turkey is done and has formed some brown bits.
  • Serve in romaine lettuce leaves.
