Valerie Kazansky: Carmel Cooking Coach



Early on, Valerie earned her teaching credential from UC Davis and after seven years of public school teaching, she decided to pursue her first true passion: cooking. So she enrolled in Le Cordon Blue in Paris. Upon her return, she worked as a chef at L’Escargot in Sacramento, and started a catering business, Valerie and Company. She continues learning new cuisines and techniques, and she especially loves creating dishes for each individual taste. Valerie moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1980, and taught cooking classes at The Peppercorn in Carmel, at Monterey Peninsula College, and nutrition at Hartnell College. Teaching quickly expanded into catering and private cooking classes. All her life, Valerie has loved both cooking and teaching- being a cooking coach is the perfect vehicle for her to share these two creative passions. To learn more about Valerie, click here!

Kari Bernardi: Super Natural Chef



Kari Bernardi, aka Super Natural Chef, is a certified Gourmet Raw Food Chef and Instructor. Kari is the owner and executive chef of a raw vegan gluten free product line called Super Natural Foods Company in Carmel California. She was the founding Director of Monterey County’s Farm to School Partnership Program and a former faculty member at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute. Kari continues to be instrumental in supporting policies promoting healthy school food, bringing fresh fruits and vegetables into schools and teaching farm fresh nutrition education to students around the world. For over 20 years Kari has shared her teaching expertise to help people thrive on a plant-based diet and has taught students from 3 years old to 95 years young. To learn more about Kari, click here!

Rondi Robinson



Rondi Robison is a Certified Health Coach, AADP and Yoga Instructor, RYT who supports her clients and their families to make step-by-step changes in their food and lifestyle choices, so that they permanently reach their health goals. She supports them to do so in a way that’s enjoyable and easily integrated into their lives. Rondi works with clients to help them create a healthier and happier life, navigate through life’s transitions and alternative modalities, maintain maximum health, reduce stress, have more energy, and reach their individual health goals. Rondi has always had an interest in health and nutrition, exercise, yoga, and healing. Rondi was a competitive athlete for many years and has been teaching yoga for more than 12 years. Rondi has worked with and overcome a number of her own health and life challenges through modifying her food and lifestyle including weight gain, scoliosis, parenting a low birth weight child, and the stress from many of life’s major transitions. She loves working with others to meet their unique health goals!
